Who hasn't discovered that the bathroom faucet or an outdoor faucet has a drip? Or maybe it's the toilet that seems to be losing a little water every day.  We check to see if the faucet is turned off completely.  If it keeps dripping, it's easy to rationalize that it isn't all that much or we'll fix it in a few days.

In fact, if your facet is dripping at one drop a second, you will waste 2,700 gallons of water a year!  That's a lot of water and it's using your money via the utilities bills.  If you are on a septic system, it's straining the system as well.

Make a point of going to the hardware store and getting some new washers.  They're cheap and effective.
