Stories

Storytelling is an art form, an affirmation of our past, present, and future, of our lives and of the lives of those around us. I come from a family of storytellers some of us more eloquent than others but all of us ready to share a humorous observation or mishap, pass on a cautionary tale, laugh at a great joke, or talk about past events and memories or our history and our predecessors.

I love stories and, for better or worse, I never seem to be at a loss for a vignette about someone or something that I believe is worthy of sharing with others. So, as a way to weave a richer tapestry about the tropics, the people who live there, and others who have a deep connection with vanilla, I decided to devote a space for sharing my stories with you. I hope that you will enjoy these small glimpses into the lives of the people I have met along my journey.
